This is what Dr. Karolina Bedorf says...
Wide range of tasks and topics
I work in Radiopharma Quality Assurance and find it exciting that I have insights into the entire value chain and many different subject areas at Eckert & Ziegler. I was previously in a contract laboratory, where the range of tasks was much smaller. For example, I had nothing to do with production and approval issues before. Our team not only ensures that all specifications and documentation requirements are always met. We are also involved when it comes to making processes more efficient and jointly developing new projects. Colleagues from different departments work together and everyone contributes their expertise. I come into contact with very different topics. Sometimes there are things that I have to familiarize myself with in detail first. But these are precisely the challenges that I enjoy. And that makes it varied.
Family atmosphere
The Radiopharma division is manageable, and I like that. The exchange between colleagues is very uncomplicated and informal. Managers are also approachable and take their time. If one of us has a problem, we can talk about it at any time, and it will be taken seriously.
Flexible working hours
Eckert & Ziegler offers many options when it comes to working hours. I cut back to 35 hours after the birth of our second child. Mobile working is also not an issue. I do this from time to time because it is sometimes very practical. But I’m a person who likes to work with others, so I’m usually in the office. I don’t have far to go either: I live very close by.
