During your training, you will get to know the various departments of the globally active Eckert & Ziegler Group, actively participate in day-to-day business, take on your own projects, and drive forward our goal “Contributing to saving lives”.

Right from the start, you will be integrated into the existing trainee team alongside your operational departments. This means that you always have the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of all trainees and always have a space for exchanges.

The theoretical aspects of the training will be taught to you two days a week at the Leopold-Ullstein-Schule – OSZ Wirtschaft in Berlin-Wilmersdorf.

Duration of training: 2.5 years incl. specialization (shortened due to (technical) university entrance qualification)

Training location: Berlin

Start of training: every year on 1 September

Prerequisites: Advanced technical college entrance qualification, general higher education entrance qualification

As an industrial clerk (m/f/d), you will work in various departments of the Eckert & Ziegler Group, actively participate in day-to-day business, and take on your own projects.

Areas of application during the practical phases in the company:

• Finance and accounting
• Purchasing and logistics
• Customer service & support
• Production planning and control
• Marketing
• Investor & public Relations/Corporate communications
• Quality management
• Personnel management
• Organization & reception

Contents of the vocational school phases:

• Management and control
• Industrial business processes
• Communication and presentation
• Economics and social studies
• English
• Various elective subjects on topics such as marketing, logistics

Specialization and specialist task in the area of application:
Selection of a subject area and preparation of a report with a presentation for the final oral examination.

First and second year of training:

• Introduction day and orientation phase
• Assignment in various departments (duration one to three months each)
• Two days per week at vocational school
• IHK intermediate examination at the beginning of the second year of training

Third year of training:

• Specialization in one subject area
• One to two days per week at the vocational school
• Technical paper in the area of application incl. oral examination
• IHK final examination

After successfully completing your training, you can be employed in all administrative departments of the business divisions, as your training with us will provide you with extensive technical knowledge and skills for a good start to your career.

Ideally, we would then like to integrate you as a very well-trained junior employee and offer you a career start at the Eckert & Ziegler Group. After successfully completing your training, we will give you an employment guarantee for the first six months.
